really liked it

I stayed up late finishing this book. I know, I’m late on this bandwagon, but I really enjoyed the characters, their stories, and how there was much to think about. Motherhood, adoption, abortion, high school, community, perfectionism, secrets, and the ripple effects of decisions were all subjects I spent some time thinking about while I read this one. Obviously, it’s not a light-hearted fiction read, but it’s a well-written, meaningful fiction read for sure. And now to want to watch the TV show.
