it was amazing
bookshelves: magical-realism

Technically this should be in the "currently reading" shelf, but the truth is, by the time I get back to it. I'll need to start it over.

I love magical realism. Love in the Time of Cholera was one of my first magical realism books ever. It broke my heart and opened my eyes and changed my life. Pretentious on my part, perhaps. But very true.
