As David trying to get over the fact that he blew up his chance to talk to the gorgeous stranger (whom David calls "Gorgeous Guy" in his mind), he is visited by another stranger, this time a bit crazy-probably, who calls himself Chance Murdoch, Temporal And Dimensional Matchmaker. Chance tells David that he has one more chance to ensure his happy ever after with GG, but he needs to come with Chance in about one hour. David doesn't believe this strange guy, of course, but then Chance shows him the possible futures ...

This has a "Ghost From Christmas Future" sense to it. I LOVE Stephen Osborne's writing. He has a witty and humorous tone to it. I enjoy reading David's imagination as he stares at Gorgeous Guy, daydreaming about what he could do to him

... David couldn’t understand the attraction to Mixed Martial Arts fights. Two guys get into a cage, wearing only board shorts and skimpy gloves and beat the snot out of each other. If David got GG into a cage, fighting wouldn’t be the first thing on his mind. Getting those board shorts off him would, though

I like him being a little unsure about himself because he thinks GG is out of his league and will never like a skinny, bespectacled nerd like him. It might takes this strange matchmaker to show him the way, but I'm sure it makes an impact on him. My only complaint is that the story stops just at that moment David decides to grab his possible happy-ever-after future. I want to know moooooreeeee *whines*
