Ahh, what to say about vampire books? Well, this was the typical, run-of-the-mill, YA, vampire novel. Quinn is a normal LA teenager; concerned with summer living and looking summer. Throughout the book, Quinn falls for Morgan, James and James' brother Whit. She "loves" each of them. The problem begins when her friend, Libby, doesn't come home from her boyfriend's house. As Quinn investigates, she realizes that she'll have to kidnap Libby back. I find the parents in this book irritating! Quinn needs only to leave a note and she can do whatever she wants. The book ends as a cliffhanger. I'm sure that teenagers will enjoy this book more than I did. I would have liked it more if there had been something different about it. Time for someone to do something new and daring with the vampire novel!
