it was amazing

Me after reading the book: I’ve been using the language ineffectively to communicate and connect. Wish I had come across this book earlier.

Also me: It is going to take ages to master the skills.

The book doesn’t give away “tips” or “hacks” to communicate effectively. But rather explores deep into human needs and desire. Made me aware of simple things like how our concerns centre on “who is what” and how our attention is focused on classifying, analysing and determining levels of wrongness rather than on what we and others are not getting.

Taking my time to digest, re-read and practice it.
