Fadi's family must flee Kabul or face the Taliban. In the rush they lose Mirium, the youngest daughter . They all blame themselves for her loss but Fadi most of all. He works hard to get her home hoping to win a photography contest that would allow is dad to go back and look for her. He wonders what is next when he loses. Photography is still the best hope the family has to get Miriam to America -home with her family.
