The classic book that I kept hearing about but never got a chance to read. I absolutely loved it! I saw the movie first and I'm glad I did because I kept imagining Gregory Peck as Atticus as I read along. I absolutely LOVED the court case scene. The way Atticus proves Tom Robinson innocent just floors me. He does it calmly and politely. Scout's character was absolutely amazing because I love how she's such a tom-boy and how she resists Aunt Alexandra's attempts to make her into a lady. The relationship among Jem-Atticus-Scout just makes you go, "aww". Another thing I liked is how Atticus tries to instill in them morals. How Scout treats Boo Radley in the end just shows how much her character's developed and how much of an adult she's become. Definitely a re-read book for me.
