really liked it

I was expecting a chick-lit romance kind of story here, but BGMDE is so much more.

Tabitha, her grandmother, her friends, they’re all very real characters, strong women and completely relatable. Tabitha is in her early thirties, just been sideswiped by fertility issues and is navigating through relationships and her career. I can relate to that more than I’d like to!

I really enjoyed this book, even more so because Tabitha wasn’t a woman who needed “saving” by a man in a cliched, predictable ending.

BGMDE is funny, raw, relatable and well-written.

(And that cliffhanger? I’ve got to get the next book ASAP)
