In some ways, this is the weakest book of the series, but it's a good wrap-up, and Westerfield did not take the easy way out, though his ending is a bit Hollywood. I don't want to say more, because I don't want to give anything away, but there are some dark moments in this last book of the series. It's also got some doozy inconsistency, especially at the end. But in general, it's a satisfying ending to what has been a pretty enjoyable series.
