it was amazing
bookshelves: nonfiction, read-2020, ebook

I wouldn’t say I’m ready to talk about race, I still have much to learn, but I’m more ready than I was before. Oluo clearly defines many of the terms that I thought I understood, but did not really UNDERSTAND. I’d read articles, posts, and comments about culture appropriation, intersectionality, and microaggressions and think, “OK…sure, I get that!”. but I really didn’t get it. This is a book I know I’ll revisit many times to remind me of where and how I can do better.
