Hands down one of my favorite novels. I read it in high school and should definitely revisit this novel. The themes are excellent and I think the idea of a world that embraces luxury and comfort is more realistic than the world Orwell presents. People sitting around, visiting with friends in their social class, going to movies and having carefree sex - sounds like our world to me. Points out the obvious flaws and advantages to living like this as well.
