A good follow-up to what was an excellent start in the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series, merging ancient Greek mythology with modern-day protagonists.

This time, Percy has to go rescue his friend Grover, a satyr (not of the lascivious variety in this version) from a cyclops. All the while dealing with the traitor Luke, sirens, Circe, being turned into a rodent, and, oh yes, a half-brother he never knew he had: Tyson. Who also happens to be a cyclops.

It is a bit slower going than I would have liked, but still fun and a good read for a car ride or that sort of thing. Pay attention to the foreshadowings, as they start popping up more and more as the series progresses.
