it was amazing

Sisters Claire and Meghann had a unique childhood, somewhat raised by their fame seeking mother, with their separate fathers not in the picture. When their mother abandons them for the limelight; Meghann, the older sister by several years, leaves Claire with her biological father and takes off for the city.

Now, many years later, Meghann is Seattle’s hottest divorce attorney disbelieving in love and living her rich life in a cold urban condo. While Claire stayed in her small country town with her father and young daughter, never doubting what fate has in store for her. Then Claire meets Bobby and she finds herself falling in love for the first time and preparing for the visit from the older hypercritical sister.

When Meghann and Claire reunite for the first time in decades, they are forced to discover each other all over again. Apprehension turns to love and adoration as they move forward through the following weeks. When tragedy hits the family, their bond grows stronger. Meghann finds unexpected safety in the arms of a stranger who has secrets of his own. And the return of their Mother, with her entourage of security and paparazzi, is just not what the doctor ordered.

Again, Kristin Hannah hits one out of the park. The perfect combination of drama, sadness and love make with Between Sisters a fantastic read. Though the story is very predictable, I still continue to love reading what Hannah puts in writing.
