really liked it

I love reading Joseph Delaney. I really enjoy his simple yet sophisticated style of writing. He is the fantasy version of Hemingway. Simple, yet very detailed. His writing may be YA, but I would recommend his books (at least the Wardstone Chronicles) to any adult.
These books are simply about good vs. evil. They each character is so distinct and as such, has a completely different point of view. The lines of good and evil do blur and and there is a great expression of flexibility and a real lack of what is black and white by showing how being black and white can be so limiting and lead to ultimate results (death and tremendous disappointment).
I am going to be sad when this series ends, though I will look forward to the next.
