really liked it

Daisy Harris’ "College Boys, Men of Holsum College 1″ is a delightful introduction into life at the College. She has accurately portrayed her characters and their settings in a subtle by masterful way. You start off the novel with Chris who is moving out of his noisy, jock-filled dorm for a quieter room after his mother passes away. Peter is his new next door neighbour, but as Chris quickly finds out, he can hear everything Peter says-and does- and vice versa. As Peter and Chris start to become friends you find out their back story and the history they have together. Their friendship morphs, and Chris has difficulty accepting where it is all going. As a reader you feel like you want to bash the boys on the head sometimes, but in the end they do managed to figure it all out(amazing after all of the stupid things they do/say, MEN!). I really enjoyed this novel as a light and fun read, it’s a great way to introduce someone into the world of M/M romance. I’m so excited to see the stories Daisy comes up with for the rest of the boys at Holsum College. 4/5 Stars.
