it was amazing

The book "Matched" was a really good book. It was very intruiging and kept me interested throughout the whole book. The story took place in a future utopia where the government known as The Society controls everything, even who you marry.

The main character Cassia gets matched with her best friend and is extremely excited. The government gives each person a microcard about each other to be seen later. But when she gets home and begins reading about Xander on her port someone else's picture comes up on the screen. This scares Cassia because she has always trusted the government and now it made a mistake or so she thought. Even though the officals assured her that it was just a glitch, Cassia wants to know more about the boy on the screen.

As Cassia gets to know the boy she falls in love with him. This worries the government because the boy is an outlaw and his punishment was to never to be matched. Even though their love is forbidden Cassia and the boy find a way to make it work. No one ever said love was easy. Throughout the book Cassia gets more and more angered by the government's rules and regulations. She wants to be free. Cassia feels that with their love they can fight any power.

This book was very interesting because it showed flaws in a society that seemed perfect. It was a good lesson on how even if it appears perfect there is most likely flaws to it. I also liked this book because of the secrecy and scandal that Cassia put herself in to be with her true love. She broke almost every rule in her society to be with him. I think this is an amazing book and definitely worth reading.
