I don't give a book 5 stars lightly. I wouldn't give some of my favorite books more than four stars. I give "Steal Like An Artist" five stars without hesitation. If you are an artist or a creative, or just feel that you might need a little creative boost in your life--read this book. It's not long, it's not hard, it has short paragraphs and a bunch of drawings, and he just explains what creativity is better than almost anyone.

I have been looking for a third book to add to Stephen Pressfield's "The War of Art" and Annie Dillard's "The Writing Life" for a writing/creative trifecta, and "Steal Like an Artist" is that book. It's cheap and easy and indispensable. Buy it, read it, and start using it today.
