really liked it

Good for the boy/girl who liked fairy tales but wants a liiiiitle bit more action.

Just after all of the princess stories you know and love have ended, this story picks up. Cinderella, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White are not exactly what you'd expect based on their stories, and the Princes Charming who saved them all are tired of getting mixed up with one another. They have names too! They also have a series of problems of their own. Frederick is afraid of everything, Gustav has impulse control problems, Duncan is flighty and weird, and Liam wants more attention than he gets. The Princes Charming team up to battle a witch who has kidnapped all of the Bards of the kingdoms with evil plans in mind.

Tongue-in-cheek, silly-pants humor, this is a fun, action-adventure story about friendship. Good middle-grade read, but also probably okay for a younger reader who is reading up. They probs wouldn't get quite all of the jokes yet, but that's okay.
