** spoiler alert ** I’d give this 3.5 stars.

Although most of the plot and especially the ending were mega-predictable, it was a better book than I’d thought it would be.

Tiffy and Leon were likeable enough and I liked that they weren’t the usual stereotypes that are in these kinds of stories. Although it was obvious from the off that they’d get together, I did find myself caring what happened. I thought the subplot of Leon’s brother in prison was good too; I was really rooting for the guy! Justin was, unfortunately, very believable as a character and how Tiffy responded to their unhealthy relationship felt pretty real too.

Plus the whole idea of living with, but never meeting, someone felt pretty original to me.

A nice enough positive read, and exactly the kind of thing I needed right now in lockdown!
