I thoroughly enjoyed this crime drama. Although its short it doesn't lack in any way, with well crafted characters and a plot that kept me going this book will appeal to a variety of readers. The story begins with two police officers investigating a murder, with a complicated web of organized crime opening up as the story unfolds. Perro has a built a great cast of characters, from the veteran detective Bayonne to the guy in the middle of it all Kane, that are engaging and very well done. Fans of detective stories and crime novels will really dig this one.
