it was amazing
bookshelves: scifi-fantasy, read-in-2008

Genre: Graphic Novel, Faerie in Modern America

Most of this book is set-up, but I really want to see where the story's going! The style is pretty similar to _Tithe_ and _Valient_, although given the comic format the pacing is a bit more like the _Spiderwick Chronicles_. The art is very goth.

The basic set up is that Rue (our heroine)'s mother has disapeared (possibly murdered, possibly by Rue's dad) and Rue herself is starting to see weird things happening all around that no one else seems to be aware of. Things progress from bad to worse, thereafter.
