it was ok

While this book contained many fascinating real life characters, there was so much detail regarding the development of the radar and the atomic bomb that they lost me several times along. I think the lay person might need to skip ahead at points although this book was very necessary as I did not realize the importance the radar had in winning WWII for the Allies. The world might be a very different place without Alfred Loomis and his sponsored scientists.
