really liked it

Impressive in its scope, imagination and creativity. While you may think all of these characteristics are a given in good story telling, Mitchell's approach to present six different interlocking characters and stories keeps the novel fresh and generally intriguing. While the novel might seem more of an opportunity for Mitchell to showcase his talents as a story teller, the reader also gains greatly from this tale as themes of ascension, freedom, faith, hope and greed are inextricably intertwined with different worlds, characters and voices.
