really liked it

Good Fantasy and Strong Character Development

Robin Hobb in this book does a wonderful job of tying a reasonably interesting plot, that despite a slow start, is more than made up by some very strong Character development. Add to the mix some well conceived plot twists and there's not much negative to be said about the book that isn't more than made up for by what is good about it.

An entertaining read all the way around that I enjoyed and may be enticed to read the next 2 books in the trilogy at a future date.
