really liked it

The story of two friends, A Whole Latte Life is filled with flowing prose and beautiful description. The friends, Sara Beth and Rachel, have maintained a solid relationship since elementary school, yet we know from the first sentence that both of their worlds are about to change.

The characters are alike in many ways, yet their differences soon become apparent. Sara Beth made me a little crazy for a time, just as she would have in real life. So did her husband, Tom. They were a good match for each other. Rachel, on the other hand, is more the type of person I would like as a friend in real life. I identified much more with her than with Sara Beth. And Officer Micelli--what can I say? I'm a sucker for a man in uniform.

Overall, A Whole Latte Life was a satisfying read and one I highly recommend to fans of women's fiction. I'm looking forward to Joanne DeMaio's next offering.
