Here's the breakdown of our school district/ corporation.

K-4
5-6
7-8
9-12

I teach 7th grade in the 7-8 Junior High School.

I let the kids know I read a good deal, and generally I enter the AR competition as well. I would do this to motivate the students, and hey - I found it fun, ok?

Well, last year within the first 2 or 3 weeks of school a kid asked me if I'd read this book. And then he asked me at least once a week for the duration of the school year. I never got around to it, and I felt pretty bad.

He moved on to 8th grade. Occasionally, he'd be in our hallway - and he'd ask: Have you read The Clockwork Three yet?

I hadn't. I hadn't. I hadn't.

But I made it. I made it before he moved off to a different building. And I liked the story. I'm pretty sure it's my first exposure to steampunk.

So, student (CI) reading this: sorry that it took me so long. Thanks for the recommendation.

Also, sorry that this isn't really a review. Golems are SO in right now.
