it was amazing
bookshelves: inspirationalfiction

I absolutely loved this book about family, love, and forgiveness. The characters were awesome, esp.Katie,Lorena, and Aunt Hattie! All the things that Aunt Hattie said made a lot of sense, and I esp. liked that scene that took place when she stood up to Father Merritt, lol.
Lorena was the sweetest child..filled with wonder, childlike faith, and unconditional love...My Name is Lorena Birdsong! Katie was courageous, and so sincere, always said what she felt from her heart. I admired the powerful love that Victor had for Nadine, and Nadine's strong conviction of forgiveness.
I highly recommend this book!
