This book starts with a brilliant, heart-wrenching prologue, which immediately catches your attention and does not let you go until the final page. As the recipients of the screenplay are pursued by an assassin, you find yourself desperately trying to work out the clues alongside the characters, watching the puzzle slowly coming together, hoping that it’s not too late. The book stands out as a unique thriller, merging an insight into the movie industry with fast-paced action, and tricky clues to solve – reminiscent of the Da Vinci Code. Whilst it was confusing to follow at times with the numerous characters, you find yourself suddenly realising what you’ve been missing and then eagerly reading on to find the next clue.
