This is so great on audiobook. We're presented with the mystery of D.B. Cooper, a guy who hijacked a Northwest Airlines flight in the 1970s, took 200k in ransom, and then sky-dived out of the plane somewhere above the Pacific Northwest, never to be seen or heard from again. At first I wasn't sure that I was going to care about this case for the length of 8 CDs. But now I completely do! We go with this author as he pursues his own leads in the D.B. Cooper case, and then investigates other leads, mixing it up with the community of amateur sleuths and conspiracy theorists who are hung up on D.B. Cooper. The more you think about this case, the more interesting it gets. Or maybe it's just that the storytelling here is really good.

Read by the author, who does a fantastic job.
