This was a lot of fun and a nice conclusion to the original trilogy though the depiction of life in Buck House and various royal personages did seem a little 'off'. (I am reminded of some of the appearances of various historical figures in episodes of 'Doctor Who').

Still it is a romp and not meant to be a serious work of historical fiction. I've enjoyed Mary Quinn as a character and can see that there is scope for further adventures for her.
