it was ok

Coudn't really finish this book honestly. The narrative voice was welcoming to readers, yet I just couldn't really get into the story. I liked that it dealt with a female protagonist who expores her religious foundations. Personally, I just felt like the adoption aspect rang a bit idealistic. Loved that Simone seems to be a fully adjusted adopted child who has a good support system. Its just that meeting with your birth mom would have a bit more....drama? I dunno.
