I would love to give this book 3 stars but I find that it is simply more of the same and I cannot reward that. These love triangles and star-crossed lover plots are simply getting to be a bit too tedious. One minute she is with Falin and the next she's with Death. The author makes sure that each fan base (i.e. Falin fans and Death fans) are kept somewhat happy but it makes the story feel like its going nowhere. The character Alex appears to stagnant. Don't get me wrong, things get revealed like - (SPOILER ALERT) Alex is Fae, but wait I thought we had learned this in the previous book Grave Dance...ohhh right, we did! So what was this book really about...Alex making it with Death and once again realizing that she can't be with him? Needless to say this book was unfulfilling.
