Like someone had told me, reading Robert Harris is like getting in a sleak black mercedes and being driven artfully through an experience. You know you're in good hands, and you know you're going to get there in style. This iteration is no exception. It still has that Harris charm, the same obvious excitement that keeps the pages turning. And, (thank the gods for this) he managed to not start the book with a suspicious body being pulled out of a body of water (See The Ghost, Fatherland, Imperium, etc). All this adds an extra star to a decidedly 2 star effort.

Not exactly one of those cases where you don't see the ending coming. The suspense is resolved about 50 pages in. The characters don't exactly stand on their own two feet. And, even for someone like me who thinks the singularity is near, the situations are implausible.
