The Blandings stories are my favourites of all of P.G. Wodehouse's works. Clarence and Galahad and Lady Constance are all great. All Clarence wants is to be himself and wear his bedroom slippers and eat dinner in the library while engrossed in a pig book yet his sister Connie wants him to be the proper, upstanding nobleman that his rank and title require of him. Galahad, member of the illustrious Pelican Club, arrives to rescue his dear brother Clarence from their sister's expectations. Along with several guests, including a Duke, there is much ado at Blandings Castle. I really enjoyed this story. The Empress makes an appearance, as she usually does (the Empress is Clarence's prize-winning pig).

10/10, would recommend a Blandings novel to all who need a laugh in life.
