really liked it

I liked this book! It's a fairy tale and the characters come from today not the time of the Titanic but it's such a likeable and fun book. The author did a great amount of research about the Titanic and those realities are sprinkled in the fictional ones.

The main character is more a foil for all that goes on around her - but the structure works because the author adds depth to other characters and the conflicts they faced and their responses.

A historical novel that doesn't drag but rather moves with grace.
