it was amazing

An alien invasion story that starts innocuously enough, Callum is tending to his Welsh farm, living a quiet, somewhat distant family life with his wife, Cerys, and their kids, Michael and Maggie. Then, things start to go bump in the night...

The aliens in this story are not quite what you might normally imagine, they are quite, well, horrific. We're all used to greys, or aliens akin to those from the "Aliens" franchise, these are something altogether different, fresh, and disturbing!

Callum gets caught up in a desperate race to save his family from these invaders, and what a race it is. A big theme of the book is family ties, it's interesting to see how even though they don't always get along that well, they band together during the awful mess that has been thrust upon them. But you'll have to read it yourself to find out how it all plays out!

A short, fast-paced, and intriguing story, that is definitely worthy of a sequel (there is certainly more to tell)! Highly recommended to all of you horror/alien fans out there!
