liked it

I enjoyed this quirky novel. By the end I was laughing out loud at (and with) the normal but crazy, dysfunctional but caring (in their own way) family that is experiencing a "spot of bother." I liked reading about the struggles of the father, who is going a bit insane, and was engaged by Haddon's the style of many short chapters that skip among the perspectives of the 2 children, father and mother as they try to sort out their own lives and each others. Not a ground-breaking novel, but fun.
