it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction

I read this book several years ago when I had my first student with autism. Grandin, the author, is high-functioning autistic, and it was fascinating to read her thoughts on the topic of autism.

Parents, you might be interested in this book if you know of a family dealing with autism.

Kelly I've read articles about Ms Grandin - she's amazing. You might like:

A very insightful and upbeat book by the mother of 2 autistic and one nero-normal boys.

Lisa Lewis Thanks for the info, Kelly! I'll add it to my "to-read" list. And by the way, I'm so glad to see a parent join us on Goodreads.
