really liked it

written by thomas jefferson, this book reveals distict opinions on jesus in a rather rhetorical manner. jefferson had a growing interest in the life of jesus but keeps reminding the reader that the bible tells stories of impossible things, fabrications as well as superstitions. jefferson paints a clear picture: jefferson is a materialist; jesus was a spiritualist. this book was written from jefferson's unitarian perspective looking at jesus as a philosopher. i enjoyed this book as i toy with the ideas within the unitarian framework.
