I am considering making a tag for love stories featuring a romantic lead who plays D&D. Of course, I can only think of one other besides this one.

The premise of this book sounds so creepy, and so part of the joy of this book is how it manages not to be. Because the lonely IT guy who falls in love with a coworker from reading her email exchanges with her BFF is so sweet and real and aware of the creep factor. Also, aforementioned emailing ladies are hilarious and lovely and gave me warm fuzzy feelings about a certain beloved friend of mine who unfortunately emails me from across the country instead of across an office.

The late nineties setting probably also hooked me in, since I'm mildly old like that.

But anyway! This book is lovely. There should be more books about geeks who truly are geeky, and how they fall in love too.
