And yet, Elysia doesn't really feel anything about the fact that a girl had to die so that she could be created.
And don't even try to sell "the girl suffered and accident and was in a coma and wasn't going to survive" or some other shit, because if you have the technology to create clones-you have the technology to heal anything on Earth. Unless you're Robert Charles Wilson, or Tolkien, or George R. R. Martin, and you can make anything believable. But then, not many people are.
God, where has the world gone?
The main point of feeling should have been that: Elysia feeling guilty, guilty, guilty, that she should live while someone else died for it. NO, NO, NO.
Now, if a girl didn't have to die so that Elysia could be made, now that would have been promising.
But hell, I still haven't even touched the cover of the book, let alone read it, so I am going to give it a shot. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Elysia will feel guilty. God, it would be so refreshing.
