Maybe a little higher than a 3. Quick, interesting read. 3 people set off in the wake of Verne's _around the World in 80 Days_ to do the same thing, but in different manners. Thomas Stevens rode his bicycle across the US then decided to not stop and circumnavigate the globe, riding wherever he could. Nellie Bly wanted to beat Fogg's 80 days, traveling as a solo woman. Joshua Slocum, long retired from the sea, refurbished an old sailing ship and set sail in the days of the steam ship, again traveling solo (around Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope). Learned something. It was worth the 40 minutes it took and probably more than that.
