My only "gripe" is that it's a very British-centric book, so some if the fruits are not common in my area. Really, it's more jealousy than gripe. A beautiful book I hope to own soon.

Sarah exactly. :) I also yearn for, and have a hard time finding, gooseberries and currants, so it was a giant tease to read about all the things I could do if I had some.

Sara Oh I know. I love currants. They are apparently not allowed to be grown in my area of the US because they harbor some pest that decimates local trees. A good reason, but still I'd love to be able to find them more easily.
