What happens when Lady Liberty gets a bit bored? She decides to roam across America to explore the nation she is a symbol of. After seeing farmland, the Grand Canyon, and the Golden Gate Bridge, she learns that she is missed in New York. New York is thrilled to have her back and she returns to her post overlooking a nighttime New York City.

A great book for teaching simple rhyme scheme to elementary school students. Each page has a consistent and easy to follow AABB scheme. I think the idea of the Statue of Liberty wandering across the country is a unique and fun idea.
