really liked it

“Sherlock Holmes and the Alien Abduction” by Phil Duke is written in the style and language of an original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock story, and reads very much like one of that worthy gentleman’s stories. This tale combines many of the best elements of a classic Holmes tale with the contemporary alien abduction theme, resulting in a Holmes adventure that is quite entertaining. Phil Duke has very obviously done his homework, much to the readers’ benefit.

I am a hard-core Sherlock aficionado, having read and listened to every Doyle Holmes story many times over. I’ve not found many – if any – Sherlock tales of modern genesis that I would want to read again. “Sherlock Holmes and the Alien Abduction” is a tale I won’t mind adding to my list of Holmes stories I will revisit often. I would recommend this to every Sherlock Holmes fan anywhere. It really is that good.
