it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-fiction

Loved this book. Colin and Minerva had me laughing from the get go. I loved how he pretended not to know her name and called her Matilda, Marissa, any female name that started with a "M". But she was no soft spoken virginal spinster she adventurous with a quick witted tongue. If you love books where the so called homely, intelligent, kind hearted, and under appreciated heroine wins the dashing rake than you'll love this book. The love scenes had me curling my toes, but most of all had me laughing out loud,
