This is a really good book about books.

Basically the author Susan Hill (The woman in black, etc), decides to spend a year not buying anymore books but reading the ones she has already. (Which is something I really should do but a side effect of reading this is all of her wonderful recommendations).

In this book she talks through some of her opinions about books, her favourite authors, and there are some amazing anecdotes from authors she has known.

The book is in really nice short chapters on specific topics, or authors so is a nice quick read, or quite good to read alongside something else.

If you like non fiction books about books you'll definelty like this.
