it was amazing

Like THE HELP? You're going to truly enjoy this southern novel. The narrator is a child when the book begins, reminiscent of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. We dive quickly into the world of morphine addiction, gypsies and horse rodeos, all the while staying tethered to the prone-to-be philosophical Millie. I enjoyed the rich prose in this novel, and I can understand why it made the New York Times best-seller list.
