it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction

Oh, glory! More Olive! This is one of those rare works of fiction, which I savored every word and wanted to go on and on! If indeed we read to find ourselves, this novel hit the mark. I related thoroughly to Olive's struggle to grow old, then older and older, seeing into the future the inevitable, yet seemingly unbelievable, end. It was a surprise to see Olive mellow with age, but I loved her even as her most cantankerous self in her first volume, Olive Kitteridge.
