really liked it

This fascinating book has seven tales of suspense.
The Corn Maiden story refers to an urban legend in which a young girl is sacrificed to ensure a good crop. A well-told, scary tale.

In "Nobody Knows My Name", a cat suffocates a baby in front of her sister. Nightmare-inducing indeed!

In the bewitching "Death Cup", twins live and die together, entwined forever.
